Stuart Malkin is a pianist and singer who has performed in and around NYC for over 40 years.
Stuart graduated as a Music major from Hunter College, and since then has performed as pianist with the NYC Gilbert and Sullivan Players, and as concert soloist in various venues across the city. Stuart is also a trained baritone singer who also has a strong tenor range, and has performed music in many languages under the direction of Zalmen Mlotek, Binyumen Schaechter, and others. He currently sings with the Broadway at 92Y Chorus, under direction of conductor Mary Feinsinger.

Musical Interests
Light Operas and Operettas, Classical, Baroque, Ragtime, Pop/Rock. Stuart’s eclectic musical interests have taken him vocally into the territory of Yiddish folksong and art song, Broadway music, and more.

Training and Background
Stuart began piano training at 6 years old, under his mother and then under Rose Abot. After winning awards as a young performer, he graduated from the NY High School of Performing Arts in 1969, and from Hunter College (major in Music) in 1978. View his CV.
